Rewards
I have two reward systems in the class. I use tickets for individual rewards that student could use at the student store to purchase items. These items include things like pencils, erasers, and late passes. For the whole class I use a jar and fill it with marbles when they have exceptional behavior or excelled on a lesson. Once the jar was full the students will be able to an activity extra recess, indoor playtime or movie at the end of the week. This helps motivate students to work together for the class reward and build relationships. The individual rewards will allow students to be rewarded when others are not behaving well so they do not feel as h they are not punished for others bad choices.
Consequences
I would try to gear consequences to the actions that lead to getting trouble when possible. For example, if a student were to use the computer inappropriately they would lose computer privileges for the day. The consequences progressively increase in intensively. First time it is a quick warning, to warning and discussion on behavior, to copying assignment, extended copy assignment, loss of privilege, then parent notification, and then office.
COPY ASSIGNMENTS: I will give students sections of articles or school code that they are to copy that pertain to the behavior that they are doing.
